Julie founded Perdentia Solutions with a desire to bridge the gap between legal expertise and compassionate advocacy, creating a legal practice that not only resolves complex legal matters, but also places a profound emphasis on understanding and addressing the unique challenges faced by each client.
Julie earned a Bachelor of Social Work from l’Université de Moncton, and began her career as a Domestic Violence Outreach Intervener and a Psychiatric Social Worker. This experience allowed her to work with marginalized communities, advocating for vulnerable individuals, and addressing systemic injustices. She became a beacon of support for those in need, developing a deep understanding of the legal and social challenges faced by many.
Throughout her social work career, Julie encountered situations where legal barriers impeded the progress of social justice initiatives. This realization served as a turning point, prompting her to explore the intersection of social work and law. Julie recognized the need for legal advocacy to complement her social work efforts and decided to pursue a law degree.
Undeterred by the challenges of returning to academia, Julie enrolled in law school at l’Université de Moncton, obtaining her Juris Doctor. She applied her background in social work to inform her legal studies, focusing on areas such as family law, human rights, and social justice.
Armed with a dual background in social work and law, Julie transitioned into a legal career with a commitment to advocating for those facing systemic oppression. She founded her own practice dedicated to championing the rights of the marginalized. Julie's legal expertise became a powerful tool for addressing the root causes of social issues she had witnessed during her social work career.
